Mopower is currently developing a large-scale 200MW Independent Power Producer (IPP) solar project in Gweru, Zimbabwe.

Phase 1: 50MW
The first 50MW phase has been awarded a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and a confirmed tariff, with renewal successfully completed in July 2024.

This is the first  IPP solar project of Mopower, with PPA secured and project site fully developed.

  • 2nd IPP Project – 100MW in Zimbabwe (on processing Oct 2025)

  • 3rd IPP Project – 50MW in Eswatini (Swaziland) (Preparation, Target:  2026)

Mopower is actively expanding its renewable energy footprint in Southern Africa, with a robust solar pipeline totaling 1,000MW under various stages of development.
